MRP wins in four media in Business Marketing Association Creative Awards — the agency's 13th straight year of success

Stamford, Connecticut — Marquardt & Roche and Partners won four titles in this year's Business Marketing Association International Pro-Comm creative awards marking an unprecedented 13-year-long string of victories in BMA creative contests and a grand total of 44 Pro-Comm awards over that time.

The Pro-Comm is the country's preeminent Business-to-Business creative contest, and MRP has won far more Pro-Comm creative awards than any agency in the northeast for more than a decade. This year MRP again impressed the Pro-Comm judges – who are comprised of both marketing executives and agency creatives – in categories ranging from trade advertising to direct mail, posters and corporate video.

MRP won this year's advertising award for SCHOTT North America in the ultra-competitive "4 Color Page under $75,000" category. Its work for SCHOTT's AMIRAN anti-reflective glass targeted architects.

The agency's direct mail work for Copper Development Association targeted plumbing contractors and featured an oversize plastic mailer visually showing the restricted flow rate that results from plastic plumbing's internal fittings vs. copper plumbing's free-flowing external fittings.

MRP won two awards for FUJIFILM Medical Systems. One award was for a dramatic 3-D Corporate Video presented on a giant video wall on Fuji's two-story booth used at radiology trade shows, and another award for a humorous Poster promoting Fuji's medical imaging capabilities on kiosks at veterinary trade shows.

Howard Meditz, the agency's president said, "Our relatively small agency winning four awards in this competitive contest would thrill us under any circumstances. But the satisfaction that this year's contest provided goes well beyond that. We pride ourselves on being extraordinarily creative in all media, and the fact that we were honored in four very distinct areas is, by our standards, as good as it gets."

The past thirteen years also included successes for many other MRP clients including JVC, Gillette, SNET, Duracell, Crystal Rock, Northeast Utilities, Hogil Pharmaceuticals and Olin.
