With 10 straight years of success at BMA's Pro-Comm Creative Awards, MRP declares itself officially "on a roll."

Stamford, Connecticut — Marquardt & Roche and Partners won four titles at this year's Business Marketing Association Pro-Comm creative awards - marking an unprecedented string of ten consecutive years and a total of 38 awards at the country's preeminent B-to-B creative contest.

Winning far more advertising awards than any agency in the northeast during this decade-long span, this year MRP again impressed the Pro-Comm judges who are comprised of both corporate marketing executives and agency creatives.

MRP won three advertising awards in the ultra-competitive "4 Color Page under $75,000" category, and one sales collateral award in the "Product Specifications Brochure" category. The advertising awards were won for the industrial equipment manufacturer, Goodway Technologies, for its industrial vacuums; FUJIFILM Medical Systems, for its DryPix laser imagers; and for Hogil Pharmaceuticals, the manufacturer of Teldrin allergy medication. The product brochure victory was for FUJIFILM NDT Systems, a manufacturer of industrial "Non-Destructive Testing" equipment.

The string began in 1993, the year that the agency's president, Howard Meditz, and chief creative officer, Gerry O'Hara, first joined MRP's ownership ranks. "We set out to create dramatically different and strategically sound marketing communications, and the Pro-Comms, with its eclectic collection of marketing and creative judges, provided the ideal measuring stick," enthused Meditz.

In addition to victories for this year's clients, the past ten years have also included successes for other MRP clients including Duracell, Gillette, Schott, Crystal Rock, SNET, Northeast Utilities, Olin and the agency's oldest client, Copper Development Association, with which it boasts a 23-year-young relationship.

"In 2000 we discovered that we had won more Best of Division titles over the preceding five years than any agency in the country," offered O'Hara. "I don't think Howie or I thought things could get any better than that. Keeping the string going turns out to be, well, better than that. We learned something: Things can always get even better. See you next year."
