MRP wins most Trade Advertising/Direct Mail Awards
at Medical Marketing Association's
creative competition
Stamford, Connecticut -- Marquardt & Roche and Partners won three "In-Awe" awards at the Medical Marketing Association's 2001 creative competition. The agency won two International Awards of Excellence in the full-page journal advertising category and one International Award of Excellence for
dimensional direct mail. The ceremony was held in Chicago where the awards were announced:

Award of Excellence for client FUJIFILM Medical Systems USA for its mammography film. The ad features three pensive children surrounded by the headline, "You're about to tell a mother of three she has
an abnormality in her breast. You need to be sure it's not an abnormality in the film."

Award of Excellence for client eMed Technologies for its Web services. The ad, directed at radiologists, features a sneaker-clad grandmother perched on the side of a traditional filing cabinet she is desperately trying to open. The photo appears under the headline: "Stop hanging on to the old system. It's time to get your practice on the web."

Award of Excellence for client FUJIFILM Medical Systems USA for its FM-DP L dry laser imager. The mailing, which included a presentation-style laser pointer as a premium, came in a box which stated, "We couldn't pinpoint the one best feature of our latest dry laser imager." Inside, "Perhaps you can." appeared over the laser pointer.
Over the past four years, MRP has won more trade ad awards than any agency in the country in the Medical Marketing Association's 16-year-old annual event.
