Marquardt & Roche/Meditz & Hackett
Produces Suite of Interactive Projects for
Fuji Medical Systems U.S.A.

Stamford, Connecticut -- Marquardt & Roche/Meditz & Hackett, a full service agency in Stamford, Connecticut has just completed three interactive assignments for their client FUJI Medical Systems USA. The three projects: Fuji's corporate Web site, a CD-ROM laptop sales presentation, and an interactive kiosk for a major industry event were part of a coordinated branding effort, with M&R/M&H providing everything from strategy to concept to code.

David Wood, M&R/M&H's head of interactive development, described the Web site as, "A significant extension of Fuji's comprehensive marketing efforts. By blending an intuitive Web interface with Java based interactivity, we were able to help Fuji provide a valuable resource on the Internet for healthcare professionals."

The laptop presentation is to be used by the laser imager sales force in sales presentations to radiologists and hospital administrators. Robert Neary, Fuji's National Marketing Manager, Laser Imaging Systems said, "The sales force is really excited about how the CD-ROM demonstrates our superiority in laser imaging. As a matter of fact, salespeople from our other divisions are lining up to have the agency create similar presentations for them."

The Interactive kiosk which focuses on Fuji's next generation Picture Archiving Communications System (PACS) was featured at Fuji's booth at the Radiological Society of North America (RSNA) meeting in Chicago. It invites attendees to gain access to the presentation by pressing a palm against a handprint on the screen in the manner of sci-fi ID systems. The trick is that access is initially denied due to unacceptable stress levels in the prospect. A touch screen presentation then allows the prospect to navigate through a virtual tour designed to show how Fuji's new PACS offering can relieve his or her stress. "The sci-fi aspect was fun," said Lisa Meditz, Associate Creative Director and writer on the project. "But the real hook was letting their customers know that Fuji understands the pressures they are under. This focus allowed Fuji to have a virtual one-on-one conversation with their customers in the midst of a hectic convention."

In addition to maintaining the FUJI Web site, M&R/M&H is also currently developing graphic elements for the interface of Fuji's PACS offering, Synapse.

John Strauss, Fuji's Director of Marketing, Imaging & Information Networks noted, "The main value is not that we now have cool interactive marketing materials, but that all the cool materials build upon the brand image that Fuji and M&R/M&H have worked so hard to establish over the past few years."
