MRP
extends its streak at BMA Creative Awards
Stamford, Connecticut Marquardt & Roche and Partners
won six titles at the Business Marketing Association Impact Awards
- the BMA's creative contest for New York metro, Philadelphia
metro, Connecticut and New Jersey advertising agencies.
MRP won more business-to-business advertising awards than any
other firm in the competition. The agency won two first-place
"Impact Awards" three "Judges Awards" and
a "People's Choice" award for the favorite ad among
voters at the awards presentation.
Four-color ad campaign: MRP's 26-year-long relationship
with the New York based Copper Development Association
yielded a Judges Award for a campaign highlighting the superiority
of copper plumbing in regard to the flow rate it achieves compared
to plastic pipe. The campaign demonstrates how the external fittings
used to assemble copper tube don't interfere with water flow as
plastic pipe's internal fittings do.
Four-color spread ad: MRP's 12-year-long relationship
with FUJIFILM Medical Systems delivered a Judges Award
for FCRm, FUJIFILM's new digital mammography system. The ad features
a dramatic shot of a woman runner crossing a geological arch in
a national park with the uplifting headline, "m powering".
Four-color page ads: Advertising for FUJIFILM also
won two first-place Impact awards, as well as the People's Choice
award. One ad promoted Synapse, a multi-modality image management
system, and its particular capability when working with digital
mammography. The other promoted FUJIFILM DR's superiority in delivering
the sharpest radiological images in the industry.
Single printed mailing piece: In addition to its comprehensive
trove of advertising awards, MRP also won an award for a direct
mail companion to the Copper Development Association flow
rate ad campaign described above.
This year's Impact awards marked the 14th consecutive year in
which the Business Marketing Association has recognized Marquardt
& Roche and Partners for its creative achievements, a string unrivaled
by any agency on the east coast.
